Spin Rise Casino Privacy Policy AU explains in plain English what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles, and apply GDPR-grade safeguards where they offer stronger protection. What data we collect

To run your account safely we collect personal data including your name, date of birth, residential address, email and phone number. We collect identification documents for know your customer (KYC) checks before your first cash-out. We collect payment information to process deposits and withdrawals. We log gameplay activity to detect fraud, prevent problem gambling and meet our regulatory obligations. We also collect technical data like IP address, device type and browser version to keep the service secure and to investigate any unusual activity on your account.

How we use your data

Your data is used to operate the casino, process payments, comply with legal obligations including anti-money laundering rules, send important account updates and personalise your experience. With your consent we also send marketing emails about bonuses and new games. You can opt out of marketing at any time from your account settings. We still send transactional messages about deposits, withdrawals, security and account changes even if you opt out of marketing, because those messages are essential to running the service.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on four main legal bases: contract (running your account is a service we provide), legal obligation (KYC, anti-money laundering, tax reporting), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement) and consent (marketing emails and optional cookies). Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.

Who we share data with

We share data with payment providers, identity verification services, game providers when required, regulatory bodies on lawful request, and trusted technology suppliers who process data on our behalf under strict contracts. We never sell personal data to third parties. We never share your data with marketing networks for retargeting outside our own brand without your explicit consent.

International transfers

Some of our suppliers operate from outside Australia. Where data leaves the country, we apply contractual safeguards equivalent to those required under GDPR and restrict transfers to jurisdictions with strong data protection regimes. You can ask for a list of the countries involved by contacting the privacy team.

How long we keep data

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for up to seven years afterwards as required by financial and gambling regulations. Marketing preferences are deleted the moment you opt out. Anonymous statistical data may be kept longer because it no longer identifies you and is useful for product improvement and trend analysis.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where legal obligations allow, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. You can also ask us to restrict processing while you investigate a concern, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email privacy@spin-risecasino.com to exercise any right and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, especially for deletion or export.

Cookies and tracking

For details on the cookies we use, why we use them and how to control them, see our cookie policy. You can change cookie preferences at any time from the cookie icon in the footer.

Children

The service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account or shared data with us, please email privacy@spin-risecasino.com immediately so we can investigate and remove the data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are notified by email and shown in the account dashboard for at least 14 days before they take effect. The latest version is always available on this page. For full account rules see our terms and conditions.

What we collect and why

Spin Rise collects three categories of personal data. Identity data, including name, date of birth, address and government ID, is required to verify your age and identity under Australian AML law and the AUSTRAC framework. Account data, including email, phone, password hash and login history, lets you operate the account safely. Play data, including bets, deposits, withdrawals and session times, is required by both AML law and responsible gambling policy. We do not collect data outside those three purposes, and every category has a defined retention period after which it is securely deleted.

How we store and protect data

All personal data is encrypted at rest in databases hosted in EU and AU data centres operated by AWS and Google Cloud. Connections between your device and our servers use TLS 1.3 with modern cipher suites. Access to personal data inside the company is limited to the smallest team that needs it for a defined business purpose, and every access is logged. Penetration testing runs at least quarterly and the results feed directly into our remediation backlog. We have never sold customer data and we have no commercial reason to do so.

Your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988

Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask for corrections, to ask for deletion subject to AML record retention and to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have not handled your data correctly. Most requests are handled within five business days. To exercise any right, email privacy@spin-risecasino.com from the address on your account. We verify identity before disclosing any personal data, which usually adds 24 hours to the timeline.

Third parties and what they see

A small number of trusted third parties process limited data on our behalf. Payment processors see your name, payment method and amount but not your gameplay. Identity verification providers see your ID document and selfie but not your gameplay or balance. Analytics tools see anonymised pageview data with no link to your real identity. Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement that limits how they can use the data. None of them sell your data or use it for unrelated advertising.

Cookies and tracking in brief

Cookies are covered in detail on the cookie policy page. In short: strictly necessary cookies keep you logged in and keep the site safe, functional cookies remember preferences like language and currency, analytics cookies help us improve the product in aggregate, and marketing cookies are loaded only with explicit consent. You can change cookie preferences at any time using the cookie icon in the footer of every page, and your choice is remembered across sessions until you change it.
